Welcome to Mapalad Massage & Spa. By booking an appointment, purchasing a service, or entering our sanctuary, you agree to be bound by the following Terms & Conditions. These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines, including the Consumer Act of the Philippines (R.A. 7394).

1. General Spa Etiquette & Punctuality:
- Arrival: We recommend arriving at least 10 to 15 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment to allow time for registration, consultation, and preparation.
- Late Arrivals: To ensure the smooth flow of our operations and respect the time of the next guest, late arrivals may result in a shortened treatment time. The full service fee will still apply.
- Tranquil Environment: To maintain our sanctuary of healing and serenity, we request that all guests keep their voices low and place mobile phones on silent mode while inside the spa premises.

2. Health, Safety, and Medical Disclosures:
- Guest Responsibility: Your well-being is our top priority. Guests must truthfully disclose any current medical conditions, recent surgeries, pregnancies, allergies, skin sensitivities, or heart conditions in the intake form prior to any treatment.
- Right to Refuse Service: Mapalad Spa reserves the right to refuse service to any individual whose current medical state may make the massage therapy unsafe, or individuals who appear to be under the influence of alcohol or illegal substances.

3. Anti-Harassment & Zero Tolerance Policy:
- Strict Compliance with the Safe Spaces Act (R.A. 11313): Mapalad Massage & Spa operates a strictly professional, therapeutic wellness center. We have a ZERO TOLERANCE policy regarding sexual harassment, inappropriate remarks, or solicitation of illicit services.
- Therapist Protection: Any guest exhibiting inappropriate behavior, making suggestive comments, or engaging in unwanted physical contact with our therapists will have their session terminated immediately without a refund. The spa management reserves the right to ban the offending individual and report the incident to the proper local authorities.

4. Pricing, Payments, and Promotions:
- Pricing: All rates listed on our physical menus and official website are in Philippine Peso (PHP) and are subject to change without prior notice. However, the price confirmed at the time of your booking will always be honored.
- Promos: Exclusive packages (e.g., Mapalad, Maswerte, Matagumpay) cannot be used in conjunction with other ongoing promotions or standard government-mandated discounts unless explicitly stated.

5. Personal Belongings:
- While we strive to provide a secure environment, Mapalad Spa is not liable for the loss, theft, or damage of any personal belongings or valuables brought into the premises. We highly advise keeping your jewelry and other valuable items secured or leaving them at home.

6. Limitation of Liability:
- Mapalad Spa, its management, and its therapists shall not be held liable for any adverse physical reactions, injuries, or complications resulting from treatments if the guest failed to disclose relevant health conditions, allergies, or medications prior to the service.

7. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution:
- These Terms & Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of the Philippines. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in Lipa City, Batangas.

8. Modifications:
- Mapalad Spa reserves the right to amend, update, or modify these Terms & Conditions at any time. Changes will be posted on our website and in-store and will take effect immediately upon posting.
